Knight & Sons Dumpster Rental got its start in Shreveport with a simple idea: renting a dumpster shouldn't require three phone calls, a maze of add-on fees, and a guessing game about when the truck will actually show up. The Knight family built the company around flat-rate pricing and straight answers, and that's still how we operate today.
What began as a small, local operation has grown into a full-service roll-off company covering Shreveport and sixteen surrounding towns across Caddo, Bossier, and Webster parishes. We've added truck capacity and container inventory along the way, but the model hasn't changed — we quote a price up front, we show up when we say we will, and we haul off what we drop off.
Today the Knight & Sons team runs five dumpster sizes and eleven service types, from same-day residential cleanouts to construction and demolition debris hauling. Every container that leaves our yard belongs to us — we're not a broker reselling someone else's truck. How We Work
Call or request a quote online and tell us what you're working on — a garage cleanout, a roofing tear-off, a construction site. We'll recommend a size, quote a flat price, and get a delivery window on the books, often the same day if you call before early afternoon.
We drop the container where you need it, you fill it over your rental period, and we haul it away when you're done. No hidden delivery fee, no separate pickup charge, no surprise weight overage buried in fine print — the number we quote is the number you pay, unless you go well outside the agreed tonnage or add prohibited material.
Our Promise: Flat Pricing, Our Trucks
Every price we quote includes delivery, the rental period, a set tonnage allowance, and pickup. There's no line-item math for you to do before you book. Our 10-yard dumpster runs $350–$550 depending on your project and location; every other size is quoted on the call once we know what you're filling it with.
We also own every truck and every container in our fleet. We're not a marketing site forwarding your information to whichever hauler bids lowest that week — when you book with Knight & Sons, a Knight & Sons driver shows up.

Part of Shreveport, not just working in it
Shreveport sits on the Red River, named for Henry Miller Shreve, who led the effort starting in 1832 to clear the Great Raft — a roughly 100-mile logjam that had blocked the river for generations. That same reddish-brown water, carrying iron-oxide sediment down from the Red Bed formations upstream, is where the region's name comes from, and it's the same red clay you'll see turn up in yards and job sites across Caddo, Bossier, and Webster parishes. It can get slick when wet, which is one more reason we ask for a flat, hard surface when we place a container.
